We are looking for an intelligent, proactive, and experienced business development professional to play an integral part in the commercial growth of our allocator events group.

The job.

With opportunities in both London and New York we are looking for someone with current industry knowledge and existing connections across the fund manager and service provider landscape in asset management.

This role focuses on selling across our global events portfolio. Our allocator events group has a rapidly growing set of world class events that give our GP (Fund Manager) community access to the LPs (Investors) they want to meet and maintain relationships with. 

The requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your client base (fund managers and service providers) through face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, phone calls and attendance at conferences in order to stay current on client priorities and revenue opportunities

  • Strive to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the growth of some of our new launches across our investor focused brands

  • Opportunity for continued development of an already strong skillset across sales, networking and business development.

  • New Business – Bringing new clients on board or providing new products to our existing client base.

  • Grow revenue from existing accounts, increasing both average spend and frequency of spend across portfolio.

  • Developing your understanding of Allocator (GP/LP) event products, our competitors and our fund manager and service provider clients to maximise sales and revenue generation.

  • Become an ambassador for our brand to keep abreast of industry knowledge and the latest changes in the space to offer valuable insight and market updates.

  • Work with the internal teams of events, content and marketing across several platforms to build effective relationships.

  • Contribute new ideas and ways in which we can work with our clients.

  • Self-sourcing leads by studying internal and external channels.

  • The role will involve international travel and will require some flexibility around working hours to focus on specific time zones.
