What we need you to do.
As a Digital Content Creator, you’ll be a key figure at With Intelligence, leading the creative design element within our product marketing and customer experience departments. Your remit is to build awareness and understanding of our product through engaging content.
You’ll also work closely with our exciting new Data Studio, highlighting trends and developing and executing engaging data, content and functionalities across our digital estate. You’ll be targeting both our existing subscribers and potential new ones.
To do what’s needed, you’ll be a multi-tasker, ready to roll up their sleeves. We want creative and conceptual thinkers who are good collaborators too.
You should be curious with a passion for data-driven storytelling, with a sharp eye for design and a keen sense of product and user experience. You’ll need to show versatility, refined visual sensibilities and understating of information hierarchies.
Skilled in creating, evolving and working with brand guidelines, you’ll show us a creative flair in interpreting them to visualize data and create impactful work. We also want you to be obsessive about consistency and dedicated to delivering perfection. (Or as close to it as realistically possible.)
Naturally, you will be able to back up all the above by showing us an outstanding online portfolio, with examples of your innovative infographics, data visualizations (both static and interactive/dynamic) and any other content of your choosing.
A day in the life of (you).
Your core responsibilities will look something like the following:
Designing and developing content for our digital channels, primarily our brand website and digital product, supporting our sales and marketing activity
Being our digital design expert; selling digital best practice to key business stakeholders within the Data Studio (and to the wider business)
Supporting the Data Studio in creating compelling, on-brand data reports and visualizations that inform and engage readers. These will include interactive web pages, static PDFs and charts, visual essays and more — from concept through completion
Proactively exploring new and innovative visual approaches and techniques for storytelling
Ensuring all content conforms to industry best practice, is optimized for search and provides a first-class user experience
Acting as a Quality Assurance professional for the wider marketing teams, performing daily checks on website content – identifying, highlighting and correcting issues as appropriate
By now, you should be getting the idea that no two days will be the same. They very likely won’t be.
The skills and experience you’ll need.
We expect you know what’s needed, but just to be clear, we’re looking for:
Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
Significant graphic design experience
Clear understanding of responsive design, content and conveying complex information in a way that readers can easily digest
Thorough grounding in UI & UX design principles
Strong understanding of user-centered design in data visualization and interactivity
The ability to analyze and interpret complex data from raw sources, either with spreadsheets or database
Awareness of data visualization design trends
Awareness of data visualization tools such as D3 or other libraries
Understanding of current web standards, browser compatibility, HTML 5 and CSS design
Understanding of CMS systems, ideally WordPress and Elementor
Understanding of SEO best practice, and tools such as Google Search Console
Relevant industry experience, ideally in financial services, FinTech or SaaS
The qualities we’re expecting you to have.
An inquisitive and determined outlook
The ability to switch between priorities, managing several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving skills through understanding of digital systems and metrics
The ability to think creatively and deliver clever concepts
The foresight to put yourself in the user’s shoes
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent collaboration skills
The ability and flexibility to adapt to and perform well in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
