Fund Manager Relations Director.
This role supports the Head of Event Content and Head of Event Marketing and is a key contact for the asset manager community, communicating the company’s strategy, opportunities and business initiatives.
This new role will work across various divisions within With Intelligence. With the responsibility for building the audience for our Billion Dollar Leader’s Club and Private Markets Operational Leaders’ US Summit by doing outreach, conducting face-to-face meetings and attending events.
The post holder works closely with the team and Head of Event Content on developing and executing numerous initiatives. The postholder is responsible for filling the programs with asset manager speakers and to build out advisory boards. The role requires thinking creatively in order to attract senior operational professionals from large asset managers and working closely with the event leadership team.
Driving positive awareness and enthusiasm within the industry for these operational leader events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders at fund managers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and attendance at conferences in order to stay current on back-office initiatives and priorities
Keep up to date with industry and market trends, people moves, operational challenges and headlines
Solicit and identify Q&A, trends and analysis for surveys from fund manager meetings
Agree the scope and scale of the target fund manager group (number, AUM, split by type, geography, etc)
Attend internal and external meetings and conferences to meet with fund managers, but also meet with fund managers outside of these forums
Analyse and identify key industry and investor trends
Assist with development of high-quality back-office focused events
Extensive track record at a senior level within large scale conference operation
Understanding of back office asset manager operations
Experience in identifying, establishing and maintaining relationships with key fund managers and other stakeholders
Client focused and proactive; solution oriented/collaborative; ability to deliver in a timely manner
Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally
An excellent communicator who’s able to grasp client’s needs and brainstorm creative way to fulfil them either through sessions, panels, surveys, etc.
