We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a passion for managing, analyzing and visualizing data to support the wider data, editorial, sales, marketing and management teams at an exciting time of continued growth for the business, along with managing a small and effective analyst team.
You will have experience in analysing data using tools such as Tableau or SQL to assist with data analysis across our business intelligence products, as well as being a self-motivated individual with experience handling and analysing large quantities of data with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
The ability to prioritise, organise and show initiative when dealing with several tasks and workloads simultaneously, as well as a desire to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment, is vital for the role in question.
Building an understanding of With Intelligence products and underlying data model to interpret and present data to teams across the business.
Manage team priorities and proactively raise any potential concerns or opportunities, seeking for solutions in a fast based environment.
Produce accurate analysis and visualisations of data that can be easily absorbed by colleagues and clients with varying levels of data experience.
Ensure availability of data and analytics tools and outputs as well as the accuracy, quality and completeness of data and analytics information.
Analyze existing data and historical trends and work with subject matter experts to convert this data into insights and recommendations.
Support clients with custom data requests to extract valuable insights for our membership base.
Identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues with data reports and visualisations.
Recognising repeat requests and constructing timesaving workflows.
Build relationships with key internal partners.
Lead, mentor and collaborate with a diverse team to establish and evolve our data capabilities and help embed standard practices.
Set standards and share knowledge, ensuring the team remain engaged and skilled in the latest tools.
Develop and mentor your team to ensure their growth.
Demonstrate passion and curiosity about data – a data fanatic!
Extensive experience analysing data using tools such as Tableau, SQL, SPSS, Python or R and high computer literacy.
Line management or supervisory experience required.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet business deadlines.
Confident communicator with the ability to adapt communication style and manage stakeholder expectations around requirements and deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
Able to use own initiative to improve processes and speed up turnaround time.
Applicants must be confident, proactive and able to work independently.
Knowledge of the financial sector is desirable.
