The job.

Based in the US, you’ll be working alongside journalists and researchers across the globe.

You’ll be reporting on fund activity, providing subscribers with market intelligence on the development of new products and fund launches to significant capital raising, and key people moves.

You’ll also be providing investor relations teams with intelligence on how their fund compares to peers, how different strategies and managers are performing and why.

Your reporting will be contextualised with fund performance and investor data from our proprietary database.

Applicants should have proven ability to build a network of contacts, distil complex information into clear English and work with numbers.

The Responsibilities.
  • Break daily market intelligence about private credit fund activity, investment decisions and performance, using source networks and data-driven analysis.

  • Build relationships among the private markets fund community by working the phones, arranging in-person meetings, and attending industry events.

  • Coordinating news coverage with data research teams around the globe.

  • Stay on top of wider industry trends impacting the private credit sector.

  • Travel occasionally to cover industry conferences and build contacts.

The requirements.
  • Good communication, organisational and time management skills.

  • A journalism degree and/or professional training preferable, but not essential.

  • An interest in and some knowledge of the investment management industry would also be advantageous.
